Shipping

Scott Alexander offers free shipping on all USA, and INTL orders. All orders are processed and shipped from our Hudson Valley studio within 2-4 business days. You will receive a shipping notification once your order leaves our studio.

Due to COVID-19, our mailing partners are experiencing severe shipping and processing delays as they prioritize the safety of their staff and customers. As more consumers opt to shop online during the pandemic, they are experiencing some of their highest non-holiday numbers, particularly in their larger processing facilities.

All USA, and INTL shipments will see processing (slow tracking updates) and delivery delays that can vary from 4 days to 4 weeks. Unless your tracking says “it’s been delivered” and you haven’t received the package or a notice slip, your package is still being transferred and is in waiting until it’s safe to do so. It doesn’t mean that your package is lost! We appreciate your patience and understanding so much and thank you again for your ongoing support even during this time!

Returns

The Customer has the right to retract himself, allowing him to return his products without reason according to the conditions stated in “Right to retract” article below.

For any other reason that the Customer’s right to retract (such as damaged non-corresponding goods), the Customer is invited to contact our Client Services (contact form), who will give him the necessary information to satisfy his demand if possible.

The buyer is responsible for the shipping cost on all returned items.

Exchanges

We will replace or refund products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to contact@scottalexanderscents.com within 4 days of arrival. You may exchange your product for another candle of the same size and price within 14 days of purchase if you end up not loving the scent, or if the product is somehow damaged during shipping.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within fourteen (14) business days.

Right to retract

The Customer has the right to retract his order without reason in the fourteen days (14) after receiving his order. When this 14 day lapse of time ends on a Saturday, a Sunday or a State holiday, it is automatically prolonged until the next Working day.

To use his right to retract, the Customer must send via email a non-ambiguous declaration, that expresses his will to retract. This declaration must be sent with the information concerning the products and their quantities returned to Scott Alexander as well as the postal address, the order number and if possible the phone number and the email address of the Customer to the following address:

Products must be returned 14 days at the latest after delivery.

The return shipping costs will be at the Client’s expense.

Return modalities

Every product must be return unused, in its original packaging, unopened and undamaged. Scott Alexander will not reimburse or exchange Products returned by the Customer that do not correspond to the products ordered or that were not ordered on Scott Alexander’s Online Boutique.

The return shipping costs are at the Client’s expense.

Reimbursement

Scott Alexander will reimburse the returned Products, according to the modalities describes, using the credit card used to order.

The refund will take place within fourteen (14) business days following the date of reception of the returned products or the date at which the Customer shows proof he has returned the Products (the earliest of these dates will be used).
